Bull snake
Pituophis catenifer sayi

Found across North America, Bull snakes are carnivorous and hunt live rats, rabbits, prairie dogs and birds. In captivity we feed them dead mice, rats and quail.

Crazy Fact

When frightened or annoyed the bull snake rattles its tail like a rattle snake to pretend it is venomous, but in actual fact they are not poisonous and are constrictors (squeeze their prey to death). They also make a very loud sound like a bull to scare any predators off.
